Bio:
In early 2000 Jake began his MMA training by joining Chuck Liddel's SLO Kickboxing Academy. Within a few weeks he fought his first fight, filling in for an injured teammate at 185 lbs. In his first year he fought four fights, going 2-2. In 2001 Jake recieved a wrestling scholarship to San Francisco State. At that time he began training with Cesar Gracie, resulting in a dramatic improvement in his jiu jitsu. In March 2002 he began cross-training with Fairtex Muay Thai Fight Team. He than began fighting at 170 lbs. In the two years since he is 8-1-1. He has consistently fought top ranked and highly regarded oposition. Among his wins are Hayato Sakurai, Milton Vieira, Akira Kikuchi, Ray Cooper and Jeremy Jackson.
