So what does anyone on hear think about what he said about getting takedowns and going back to wrestling his opponents to the ground from now on?

 

He will prolly imply that gameplan against nick, i see him throwing a few punches, maybe some feints then shooting the takedown, i think he will try to take nick down and "hump" or stay on top of him for the whole 3 rounds and trying to win a decision.

 

I hope nick knows that bj publically said this after the fitch fight, that the takedowns helped him win and that he forgot where he came from and for each fight he would go bacck to wrestling taking his opponents down and obtaining top position for all the rounds even if the win is by decision.

 

When i say hump i dont mean stall literally, if bj does take nick down then obviouslty he will go for arm triangles, rear naked chokes as wekk as other submissions.

 

i hope nick doesnt have it in his mind that hes gonna have a 3 round boxing match with mma gloves on vs. bj penn. BJ will deinantly use his wrestling as much as he can to take nick down and either go for submissions or ground and pound no doubt about it. especially a 3 rounder with title implications for the winner….
